This site was launched in January 2025 to provide nursing students in Australia with a centralised resource that offers information about the content and skills covered in nursing school (minus the bioscience and pharmacology). Its important to take note that this site is purely supplementary and not a substitute to course notes, there are far too many many things to cover by myself, however I have collated and organised a set of original notes that act as a summary for nursing skills and knowledge. I am only in my 2^nd year of Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Newcastle so the content of this site will only cover 1^st year skills and information, updating on a semester-by-semester basis as I patiently pass my courses throughout this degree. Since Newcastle is my location of study, this site is slightly catered towards NSW students as I’m not too familiar with the other states or territories, though I will try to accommodate the entire nation to the best of my ability. It is worth noting that this is a one man show so bear with me if its not quite polished or complete. I have arranged “Work in Progress…” throughout the site to clarify the particluar sections’ status as incomplete and state of being updated, but the content will be finished sooner than later. In the mean time, feel free to contact me to propose any changes or additions you wish to be made/added to the site.
